Department of Management Science was set up in the year June 1997, with the objective of promoting specialized knowledge in the field of Management Science and Management Science.
Department works on developing strategy to provide, well-equipped laboratories, and industry oriented syllabus with add-on short term certificate courses which prepare the students for a best career in industry.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate, who has passed his H.S.C examination from any stream from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune, or any other examination equivalent thereto, is eligible to join the First Semester of Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Management Science Course.
OR
A candidate who has passed Diploma of Engineering from the Board of Technical Education Govt. of Maharashtra or any other examination equivalent thereto shall be eligible to join the first semester of BCA Management Science.

1) On 18th December2021, department organized Webinar on “Being a Software Engineer”, delivered by Mr. Manoj More, (Technical Head and Project Manager at Neosoft Technologies pvt Ltd.), Mr. Ankush Chavan,(Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Infostretch Corporation) at 11.30AM using ZOOM platform. Total 91 students from B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. Management Science were registered for this webinar
2) On 24th December 2021, department organized "Seminar Competition" based on “New technologies in Computer Science”, includes various topics such as IOT, Cloud computing, Machine learning, Deep learning, Blockchain, AI, etc..Total 12 students were participated from B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. Management Science. For this competition Dr. Lothe Savita and Mr. Amol Chavan work as Reviewer. First rank hold Mr. Yash Jaiswal, B.C.A. Management Science S. 3) On 8th Feb 2022, "Orientation Programme" was organized for B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. Management Science First Year students. The aim of this Programme is to know about the Department, course details with Syllabus, opportunities after completing the UG. Total 31 students were present for this orientation programme.
On 30 Nov. 2019, Campus Interview organized by the Department. The Interview was conducted by Arkarz Internet Pvt. Ltd. enlightened them with various opportunities in market. Total 26 students of B.Sc. Computer Science, B.C.A. Management Science are participated. In the interview and 11 students get selected.
4) On 28th Feb 2022, "Poster Presentation Competition" was organized,with aim to develop the communication, presentation skills and get the updated knowledge in the field of computer science. Total 7 groups were participated. First winner of this competition is Mr. Yash Jaiswal and second winner is Mr. Karan Rathod. For this competition Smt Seema Wadte, Registrar, VNM, Aurangabad and Bilal Qureshi, Vice Principal, VNM, Aurangabad worked as Reviewer.
5) On 23rd March 2022, department organized “Awareness Programme on Cyber Security” by Ms. Mrunal Dahale, Netleap IT Training and Solutions, Nashik. Total 41 students were attended this lecture.
6) On 27th April 2022, guest lecture was organized on “Emerging Trends in Computer Science”, by Dr. Manasi R. Baheti, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and IT, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada Univeristy, Aurangabad. Total 42 students were attended.
7) On 29th April 2022, “Power Point Presentation Competition”, was organized with the theme “Emerging Trends in Computer Science”, focused on Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Bitcoin, Python, R, Deep learning, Machine Learning, Big data and many more. Total 13 students were participated. For this competition Dr. Snehalata Ankaram, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology and Bilal Qureshi, Vice Principal, work as Reviewer. 8) On 11th May 2022, department organized Workshop “How to solve Question Paper”, for B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. Management Science first year students. Total 48 students were attended the workshop

On 5th Sept 2019 celebrated “Teachers Day” to give the chance to the students to show their potentials, improve or expanding one’s knowledge of things, either general or in specific areas. Students became teachers and taught us different topics, at Hall No.1 @ 10.00 AM. Total 8 students were participated.

On 13th December 2019 students of B.C.A. Management Science T.Y, S.Y, has visited to BMC Bank as part of Industry visit. Total 12 students were participated. BMC is a Co- operative bank, Authorised partner for NEFT, RTGS, UTR Banking, loan purpose. They introduces loan, types of loan, required documents, for loan which is related to banking and insurance.
On 2nd January 2020 students of B.Sc. Computer Science T.Y., S.Y., has visited to Trimurti Tech Services Pvt. Ltd as part of Industry visit. Total 22 were participated this visit. Trimurti Tech Services is the Software Developing Company.
On 6th January 2020 Debate Competition held with a subject of Social Media, Hacking & Cyber Security, Government Vs Private Job, Unemployment & Inflation. With an objective of “A debate is for student to generate effective critical thinking into primary issue in the given topic”.
On 13th January 2020 “C Programming Maniac” organised by the Deogiri college, Aurangabad for conducting 1st round of programming maniac in C language. The college always encourage student to be updated in their field of interest. In this total 10 Student were selected for the Second round.
On 25th Jan 2020 Guest Lecture was delivered by Prof. Kiran A. Shejul for B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. Management Science students on “Introduction to Data Analytics and Fundamentals of R Programming”. Total 26 students attended the lecture.Dr. Lothe Savita A.

Activities for the Year 2018-2019
Conducted a Bridge Course on “Career Opportunities in the field of Computer Science” to the B.Sc. and B.Sc. Computer Science First Year students, delivered by Dr. Lothe Savita A., on 23rd July 2019 @12:45 PM.
On 6th Sept 2018 department conducted “Quiz Competition” to give the chance to the students to show their potentials, improve or expanding one’s knowledge of things, either general or in specific area and Quizzes are designed to promote, a fun way to study and in the process help improve one’s general knowledge, at Hall No.1 @ 2.00 PM. Total 71 students were participated in Quiz competition.
On 21st Dec 2018, department conducted Seminar on" Skill Development program” by MSME Technology (Indo Germen Tool Room Aurangabad) @ 12:30 PM, Computer Dept. Session has started by Mr. Mangesh Churankar Sir mainly.
focus on:-
“IGTR, Aurangabad offers NSQF complaint medium term courses on Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA) and Advanced Diploma in Computer H/W & Network Management (ADCH&NM).” Total 50 students were attended this seminar.
On 28th December 2018 students of B.C.S. T.Y & B.C.A. Management Science T.Y has visited to IIFL (India Infoline Ltd.) and Trimurti Tech Services Pvt.Ltd as part of Industry visit. Total 14 and 14 were participated respectively this visit. India Infoline Limited is a Brokering Company which invest in Stock Market, and Trimurti Tech Services is the S/W Developing Company.
On 8th Feb. 2019, total 08 students of B.C.S. S.Y. were participated in “C-Champion”, “Web Masters” competition and attended “Android Warrior”, workshop in Euphoria Technical Event at JNEC College, Aurangabad.
On 19th Jan. 2019, Mr. Mahesh Solanke” and Ms. Snehal Moin B.Sc. Computer Science Second year Students had participated in “National Level PowerPoint Presentation Competition” organized by Shivchhtrapati College, Aurangabad.
On 16th & 17th Oct. 2019 Department of Computer Science (Senior and Junior) has conducted “Computer Training Program” for Junior College teaching staff of Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya, Aurangabad.

Conducted a Seminar On “Importance of LINUX and Open Source Software Red-Hat Technology”, delivered by Ms. Rutuja Sontakke, MIT Aurangabad, on 9th August 2017 @12:30 PM.
On 18th January 2018 conducted a “Presentation Competition” to give the chance to the students to show their potentials, encourage student’s stage courage & remove stage phobia, at THAUPANAHALL @ 12.00 PM. Total 13 groups were participated in presentation competition. For this Competition Dr. Nilima Wahegaokar and Dr. Jagdish Bharad work as Reviewer.

On 9th Feb 2018, department has conducted the session on “Final Project Demo”, to give the idea, about Project presentation and demonstration. Total 14 group and 32 Student presented PPT & Final Project. Every group Focus on Scope of project, objectives & aims of project including DFD, ER Diagram, future Scope of project.

On 12th Feb 2018 students of B.Sc. Computer Science and B.Sc. Opt has visited to “Splash InfoTech Pvt. Ltd”, as part of Industry Visit. Total 17 students were attended the session.

Activities for the Year 2016-2017
Organized Guest lecture on “Application of Programming Languages”, by Mr. Sankay Satish, MGM, College of Computer Science and IT, Aurangabad, for B.Sc.(Opt), B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. students on 26th Aug. 2016 at 12.30 pm. Total 122 students get benefit of it.
On 7th Sept. 2016 student of B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. arranged “Teachers Day”. Students has delivered lectures on C-programming, Communication Skill, PC maintenance, Accounts, Business Law etc..
On 23rd Nov. 2016, Campus Interview was organized for B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. students. The interview was conducted by “Clear Car Rental Pvt. Ltd”. Total 79 students were participated out of which 16 are selected for Trainee Networking and Data Entry.
On 2nd Dec. 2016 department has arranged industrial visit for B.C.A. T.Y. students at IIFL (India Infoline Ltd.), Balaji Nagar, Aurangabad. Total 15 students were take experience of Stock Exchange.
On 21st Jan. 2017 department has arranged industrial visit for B.Sc. Computer Science S.Y., T.Y. students at Sukanya Pvt. Ltd., IT Park, Aurangabad. Total 29 students were take experience of Software development and Engineering.
Aptitude test was conducted by “Seed Infotech”, Aurangabad, for B.Sc. Computer Science and B.C.A. students on 13th Jan 2017. Total 52 students attempted this test.
On 10th Dec. 2016, total 9 students were participated in “C-Programming” competition “Code-Encrypters”, at Vivekanand College premises.
On 21st Jan. 2017, total 6 students of B.Sc. Computer Science were participated in Blind C, Error correction in Java, Technical Rodies competition was held at MIT, MCA Dept, Beed Bypass Road, Aurangabad.
PUSH (Public United against Sexual Harassment) activity run by Ms. Vijaya Rahatkar, Head, Maharashtra Women’s Commision, Mumbai on 4th Jan. 2017. From Department 2 students get enrolled Ms. Pooja Girhe, Mr. Vikas Padwal.
