Faculty Recruitment

The recruitment of teaching faculty is carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations of the institution and the applicable statutory authorities. The College is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and meritocracy in the selection process while ensuring compliance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Government of Maharashtra, and other regulatory bodies.

Teaching Positions

The institution recruits faculty members for the following positions:

Recruitment Policy

Recruitment for all teaching positions shall be conducted strictly in accordance with the institutional rules and the applicable statutory provisions.

Every appointed faculty member shall execute a Service Agreement in the prescribed format before joining the institution.

Recruitment Procedure

Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous) follows a transparent, merit-based, and inclusive recruitment process in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra, the University Grants Commission (UGC), the affiliating university, and other applicable statutory and regulatory authorities.

The institution seeks dedicated educators who demonstrate academic excellence, research aptitude, innovative teaching practices, professional integrity, and a commitment to fostering student success and institutional growth.

The recruitment process is designed to identify candidates with strong academic credentials as well as effective classroom delivery skills. It comprises two stages of evaluation, followed by a Demo Teaching Session, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of each applicant’s subject expertise, communication abilities, teaching methodology, and student engagement skills.

The recruitment process includes:

Round I – Preliminary Screening: Evaluation of academic qualifications, research credentials, professional experience, and eligibility as per the prescribed norms.

Round II – Personal Interview: Assessment of subject knowledge, pedagogical approach, research orientation, leadership qualities, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role. 

Demo Teaching Session: Candidates deliver a demonstration lecture before the Selection Committee to showcase their teaching effectiveness, classroom management, presentation skills, and ability to engage students through learner-centric teaching methodologies.
