Faculty Development Program (FDP)

The institution strongly believes that continuous learning is essential for academic excellence. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in regular Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) that enhance their teaching effectiveness, research capabilities, leadership skills, and professional competencies.

These programmes are designed to familiarise faculty members with emerging educational practices, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), institutional policies, professional ethics, and student-centric pedagogies.

Faculty Development Initiatives

The institution regularly conducts the following Faculty Development Program:

1. Student Induction Program 

Orientation on institutional values, academic regulations, student mentoring, and learner engagement strategies. 

2. Assessment and Evaluation in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) 

Training on designing assessment methods aligned with learning outcomes, continuous evaluation, and competency-based assessment practices. 

3. Course Outcome (CO) and Program Outcome (PO) Mapping

Capacity-building sessions on preparing, measuring, and analysing Course Outcomes (COs) and Program Outcomes (POs) for Degree, Diploma, and Certificate Program in accordance with OBE principles.

4. Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values

Program aimed at promoting value-based education, holistic development, ethical decision-making, and responsible citizenship among educators. 

5. Faculty Development Program on the Code of Professional Ethics 

Workshops focusing on professional conduct, institutional ethics, academic integrity, research ethics, inclusivity, and the responsibilities of teaching professionals.
