The Academic Audit Committee in an Autonomous College is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing the quality of academic processes, teaching-learning practices, curriculum implementation, and institutional academic standards. The committee promotes continuous quality improvement in accordance with NEP 2020, UGC regulations and NAAC quantity and quality indicators, and institutional objectives.

1. Academic Quality Review:
To formulate Academic and Administrative Audit Policy. Assess and review the quality of – Departmental curriculum planning, Teaching-learning processes, Curriculum delivery, Evaluation systems, Academic performance, Maintain industrial and academic standards across departments and programs.

2. Conduct of Academic Audit:
The academic audit will be conducted in two session per semester. Audit contains monthly plan, Curriculum delivery, Teaching, Learning process, Continuous internal assessment, Student progression, Learning outcome and student attainment.

3. Verification of Academic Records:
Review and verify- Teaching plans, Academic calendars, Attendance records, Workload distribution, Course files, Internal assessment records, Result analysis, Ensure proper academic documentation and compliance.

4. Curriculum and Teaching-Learning Evaluation:
Assess effectiveness of: Curriculum delivery, ICT-enabled teaching, Experiential learning, Student-centric teaching methods, Outcome-based education practices, Encourage innovative pedagogical approaches.

5. Monitoring Learning Outcomes:
Evaluate attainment of: Program Outcomes (POs), Course Outcomes (COs), Graduate Attributes. Recommend corrective measures for improving student learning outcomes.

6. Examination and Evaluation Audit:
Review examination processes including: Internal assessment, Question paper quality, Moderation procedures, Result processing, Overall transparency and confidentiality. Ensure fairness and academic integrity in evaluation systems.

7. Feedback Analysis and Improvement Measures:
Review feedback from: Students, Alumni, Teachers and Employers. Suggest action plans for academic improvement based on feedback analysis.

8. Preparation of Audit Reports:
Prepare: Academic audit reports, Recommendations, Action Taken Reports (ATR), Best practice documentation. Submit findings to Principal, IQAC, Academic Council, and Governing Body.
